Leatherbacks Featured at Ocean Lobby Day

SeaTurtles.org Generates Support for our Leatherback Bill AB 1776 in Sacramento

SeaTurtles.org Program Director Teri Shore and ocean activists from across California lobbied state legislators to support AB 1776 and other important marine conservation bills at the fifth Ocean Lobby Day at the state capitol in Sacramento on Monday, March 26.

AB 1776 will designate the Pacific leatherback sea turtle as California's official marine reptile. If you live in California, support the bill now by clicking here.

Ocean Lobby Day is organized by Environment California with the support of ocean conservation groups big and small including Oceana, Ocean Conservancy, Surfrider, Natural Resources Defense Council, Save Our Shores, California Coastkeeper and dozens of others who work around the clock to protect marine life and habitat in California and beyond.
