Dead and Rescued Sea Turtle Count


Here is the most recent update (July 10) on the  number of sea turtles that have washed up dead or dying or were rescued offshore since the BP Oil Spill started in April. Finally, after more than two months, BP and U. S. government are making public the species of the sea turtles that are either alive and being rehabilitated or were found dead or dying.  Most are critically endangered Kemp's ridleys.
