As the new Chevron CEO James Watson takes over, he has the opportunity to change course on industrial fossil fuel projects on Australian flatback territory and to clean up the devastation created in Ecuador, Nigeria and around the world. 

On January 11, 2010, Turtle Island Restoration Network, The Wilderness Society of Western Australia, Greenpeace and allied groups around the world submitted a letter to Mr. Watson in support of the international coalition pressuring Chevron to change.  Learn the True Cost of Chevron. Program Director Teri Shore is traveling to Northwest Australia to meet with sea turtle experts and activists on the ground to support their efforts to stop new LNG plants in sensitive habitat and build an international campaign to protect the forgotten flatbacks and the Kimberley region.
