Sea turtle and ocean people who can and want to do more now to stop the march of longlines across the Pacific can make this a Leatherback Summer! The leatherbacks are already arriving along the California and Oregon coasts to feed on jellyfish. The deadline to speak up for the sea turtles is August 3, 2009.

1.  Download this petition and collect signatures against expanding the deadly longline fishery based in Hawaii!  Return to STRP a day or two before so we can fax them in!

2. Even better, hold a letter-writing party in your backyard or in the campground. See our action alert for sample letter and where to send.

3. Show the Journey of the Leatherback in your home, church or summer camp this summer.
