Help Save Sea Turtles in Australia from losing their home to an industrial port

July 9th, 2008

The rare Australian flatback sea turtle nests on islands and beaches on the Northwest coast of Western Australia in an incredibly remote and ancient region known as the Kimberly. Sadly, large corporations in search of energy sources and profits plan to ransack this area to install a huge port for ships to extract and carry Liquid Natural Gas.

Please join the international effort to defeat this needless and harmful project by joining the Save the Kimberly Coalition and sending emails to the government of Western Australia. Even if you have never been there, or never will go, it is a unique and special place for people and the sea turtle that should remain wild.
